About the project

Project Brief: Inside Golf & Axe in Ames, Iowa is the premier destination for practicing your golf swing year round, hanging out with friends and family, or hosting your next special/corporate event! The local business recently expanded their Golf Simulator business to include 6 awesome axe throwing lanes – the client wanted a new website to show off their new offering – as well as something to show off the great atmosphere of their facility.

Our Solution: With the bright green color from their logo, as well as the darkened atmosphere of their actual golf simulators – dark mode was the perfect direction to go with this website! We used a fun, modern font in a high-contrast, bright green color to really bring attention to headlines and important links. The use of a lot of images and fun icons showcase the atmosphere of the facility. We also used a lot of animations and motion on the website to add an extra interactive element to the website to really capture the attention of users.
