Project Brief: The Cedar County Fair came to Saltech Systems looking for a complete rebrand and a brand new website. Their fair hosts multiple events, concerts, and exhibits during fair week – and is commonly referred to as, “The busiest 40 acres in Cedar County.” They also host camping spots and offer their venues as rental spaces for the public to reserve for private events. The fair board also wanted the ability to sell tickets and allow the public to request reservation times for venues and camping spots.
Our Solution: Saltech Systems redesigned The Cedar County Fair’s brand from the ground up, starting with a new logo and color palette. We then created an all new, sleek, and modern website design, including their new brand elements and brand new functionality. We reorganized the information on each page to be more user-friendly and more eye-catching than ever before. We also integrated e-commerce into the site’s registration forms and we added an all new plugin that allows The Cedar County Fair to sell tickets to all of their events directly on their website. This new plugin also gave them the functionality to use smartphones to scan fair-goer’s tickets right at the gate.
