Project Brief: Live in Ames is a vibrant new initiative from the Ames Regional Economic Alliance (AREA), designed to showcase the exceptional quality of life in Ames and the surrounding communities. As a brand-new platform, Live in Ames needed a website that would inspire individuals and families to live, work, and play in the region. The goal was to create an engaging, welcoming, and visually dynamic online presence that celebrates the area’s unique blend of career opportunities, cultural attractions, outdoor recreation, and strong community spirit.

Designed to be both informative and inviting, the site features bold visuals, friendly messaging, and intuitive navigation to guide users through everything the Ames area has to offer—from job opportunities and housing options to entertainment, education, and local events.
