About the project

Project Brief: Since 1975, The Ames Foundation has partnered to raise money, curate funds, and organize volunteers for projects to enhance community spirit and resources in Ames, Iowa. The Foundation came to us to help them rebrand their organization, they wanted a brand that was more modern and emphasized the wide variety of projects they work on, and how they focus on bettering the community.

Our Solution: After going through some initial logo ideas that represented the Foundation’s emphasis on community, we landed on a logo that is based on one of the original project’s of the organization, bringing them back to their roots. The 4 columns on the logo look familiar to the Ames Signage that can be seen as you are entering Ames from I-35 and Highway 30.
