About the project

Project Brief: Tom Hillers, an Iowa attorney specializing in construction law and construction related forms & contracts, needed an all new brand identity for this side of his business.
Our Solution: We started by choosing a typeface and a color palette that Tom liked. Then we started brainstorming some classic icons that users might associate with construction. We settled on a crane, but needed a way to tie it into a law or legal icon as well. That’s where we settled on the scales of justice, and in the logo you’ll see the crane lifting the logo, similar to how the scales of justice look.
